Friends of St Mary's is a registered charity which raises money for the maintenance and improvement of the Church building. Members' subscriptions, donations, legacies and fund-raising events have allowed the Friends to undertake numerous projects from replacing the flag pole, providing a ramp to improve disabled access and renovating the clock. Future projects include improving access to the tower. Members pay £10 (£15 per couple) for annual membership or £65 (£100 per couple) for lifetime membership.
